Top 6 Reasons to Choose Genuine Leather over faux / vegetable leather

Let's go right through it
YOU HAVE BEEN GREENWASHED!
You have been told fot YEARS that faux leather is good for the enviroment and that you should feel better buying faux leather, but that was just marketing.
I'm Roberto, an expert italian artisan, 25+ years craftsman in the small leather industry and I'm so MAD at this fake news and greenwash. Here's 5 reasons explained to choose REAL and genuine leather:
1) IT'S WAY BETTER FOR THE ENVIROMENT than the faux leather: The world is filled with plastic, it's literally one of the worst issue our green world is facing right now. So, FAUX LEATHER is PLASTIC! Tattoo this on your body because that is the truth.
2) IT'S WAY BETTER FOR THE ENVIROMENT than the plant-based leather: now, tons of industries are using mushrooms, cactus and various flants and fruit to make leather but guess what? They mix it with plastic polymers and chamicals! They only advertise the vegetable part tough, so you feel better, while they make money greenwashing you.
3) IT LASTS FOR YEARS: Genuine leather can last up to 100 years! Fight fast fashion and be proud of your genuine leather bag, without creating waste from a cheap plastic or half plastic / half cactus crap!
4) IT HELPS SMALL BUSINESS: besides big logos, real leather is often worked by small business owner like I do. We so much prefer giving high quality products, crafted with our hands and heart, knowing they will last forever.
5) IT DOES NOT ACTUALLY KlLLS ANIMALS: If you think logically, the food industry is huge, while the leather industry is not 1/100 of it. I'm about to blow your mind: GENUINE LEATHER IS RECYCLE. Not only the animals are well treated, because thay have to avoid scars and bad skin, but it is recycling from the food industry or the leather is just...picked up when an animal dies naturally! The fur industry (luckily) is dead, so no more animals are killed on purpose to create these materials. PAY ATTENTION TOUGH! Nations like China and India are not sustainable-aware at all, so they still could use chemicals and klll animals for they'r products!
Bonus fact: look for "vegetable tanned" leather: it is sustainable and it is made from chopped walnut shells ;) Choose European genuine leather to be TRULY helpful and kind with the world!
